For College Students - Campus Ministries
The Vine Campus Ministries exists to:
- Create a place of BELONGING for all college students. (Gal. 3:26-29)
- Challenge, guide, and nurture college students in a FAITH in Christ. (Eph. 3:14-19)
- WORSHIP, both in our gathering and with our lives. (Psalm 96)
- Represent our generation for Christ within our CHURCH FAMILY. (1 Cor. 14:26-27)
- Spread the love and message of JESUS to our schools and our communities. (Matthew 28:19)
Verse and Devotional
Another semester coming to a close, another summer approaching. We revisit this time once a year and each year brings with it many things. Memories of the past semester, both good and bad. Anticipation of a summer filled with new opportunities, or apprehension over uncertainties that lie ahead. As the calendar makes its go-round again, take a moment to read and reflect upon Ecclesiastes 3: 1-14. There is a time for ALL things, and that includes this time of “toil” in your lives as students. All in God’s time, whether that be tomorrow or at the end of your life, these times will work for the glory of God’s plan for you and for mankind. When the stress of higher education begins to pile on, be encouraged by, and find peace in, this passage of Scripture. Endure your toil with a heart set on God, knowing that he wants you to find satisfaction in your pursuit of greater knowledge…and He will bring that to you in His time. Know that you are loved and prayed for in this stressful time of year. We love you and God loves you…
