This agency focuses on five ministry areas: compassion, peace & justice, evangelism & church growth, racial/ethnic & women's ministries, theology, worship & education, and world mission. Through these five areas, this agency works to inspire, equip, and connect all Presbyterians for the church's work. First Presbyterian supports the Presbyterian Mission Agency through donations to the following special offerings:
This agency enables congregations and mission partners of the PC(USA) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events. Members of First Presbyterian volunteer through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance all over the U.S. aiding people in times of crisis and recovery.
The Theological Education Fund exists to bring seminaries and churches together to prepare transformational leaders for generations to come. Our schools count on denomination-wide support to fulfill the ministries we Presbyterians require of them—educating leaders who can preach, teach, pray, counsel, and serve in bearing witness to the Gospel.
