First Presbyterian Church is a Partner in Education with Benton STEM Elementary School, on Hinkson Avenue in Columbia. Today, Pastor Marvin and Audra West presented Benton Principal Sarah Sicht and Assistant Principal Allison Chostner with sidewalk chalk and a check for $1,000.00 from the FPC Mission Team's Emerging Needs budget. Principal Sicht asked for prayers for her faculty, staff, and students as they begin

a new school year. They face the big challenge of making up ground lost during last year's pandemic and virtual-only instruction period.
