Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women is the women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Membership is open to anyone who supports the Purpose of Presbyterian Women (PW). PW is organized nationally in congregations, presbyteries, and synods. The organization publishes Horizons, a bi-monthly magazine and annual Bible study. PW offers opportunities for national and international mission and advocates for justice and peace through its networks.
Presbyterian Women Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to:
-
nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
-
support the mission of the church worldwide,
-
work for justice and peace, and
-
build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the PC(USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.
Circle Groups
Circle groups include Bible study, friendship, mission work, and fun. All women are invited to participate! Groups meet each month from September through May. We encourage you to try out a few different groups to find the one that is the best “fit” for you. If you're interested in joining a group, contact Kay Metcalf at kaymetcalf1023@icloud.com.
